Light stoneware base with iron speckles, white stoneware top. Unctuous white glaze. Soda fired in the catenary arch kiln to 1,280 degrees for 30+ hours.

These square slab plates have been made from a blend of local clays & fired in my anagama for around 120 hrs. Stacked on the hot face but slightly sheltered by large bulbous forms the flame 🔥 had passed over & through them leaving its indeli
