Dark stoneware clay body. Ash glaze inside and partially out. Crystal development inside from slow cooling. Happy stamp. Hand turned. Fired in the catenary arch kiln to 1,280 degrees for 30+ hours.

These square slab plates have been made from a blend of local clays & fired in my anagama for around 120 hrs. Stacked on the hot face but slightly sheltered by large bulbous forms the flame 🔥 had passed over & through them leaving its indeli
