White stoneware clay body. Feldspathic glaze inside only. Fired on setter leaving shell imprint. Lustrous surface from soda introduced into catenary arch kiln. Fired to 1,280 degrees for 30+ hours.

These square slab plates have been made from a blend of local clays & fired in my anagama for around 120 hrs. Stacked on the hot face but slightly sheltered by large bulbous forms the flame 🔥 had passed over & through them leaving its indeli
